Accounting clerk – focus on bank reconciliation

Tasks

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk (m/f/d) who has solid experience in bank reconciliation. In this role, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of financial transactions and ensuring that our bank accounts and accounting records match.

  • You carry out bank reconciliations and ensure the accuracy of our financial data.
  • You check and analyze bank statements and accounting documents.
  • You identify and rectify discrepancies in the financial reports.
  • You support the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
  • You will work with other departments to collect and verify financial information.
  • You maintain accounting records and documentation in accordance with legal requirements.
  • You are actively involved in improving our accounting processes and systems.

Requirements

  • You have completed a commercial apprenticeship or a comparable qualification in accounting or finance.
  • You have at least 3 years of experience in accounting, especially in bank reconciliation.
  • You have a sound knowledge of accounting software and MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Your analytical skills are excellent and you work extremely accurately.
  • You are a team player and communicate clearly and effectively.
